Containers: to hold the snacks around the stadium, you’ll want 12 small, clear containers. These containers should all be the same size to create a uniform stadium look. These are the containers I use and they are great for repurposing for food storage in the refrigerator and pantry as well! Turf: I’m a boy mom, so yes… I do have turf squares in my house. To create the center of the stadium, I took two turf squares and used chalk paint (the marking painting used on turf) to mark the lines on the football field. If you want to use turf, you can grab squares like these here. You can also use green poster board or foam board for this step as well. To make the lines as realistic as possible, I found this football field stencil that worked great. Snacks: This is the best part of building the snack stadium. What I love about using individual containers to build this stadium is that it allows for unlimited variety when added snacks. All the snacks stay separate, so you can have one container filled with veggies, one filled with dip, and another with a sweet treat such as fresh fruit or chocolate covered chickpeas. You can include everyone’s favorites on the snack board! Added decorations: Once your stadium is built, it is up to you how you want to customize it. I added football-themed food picks into the snacks to resemble flags around the stadium. I also added goal posts and a football to bring the theme to life. My 7-year old also let me borrow his mini NFL helmets for the photos, but you can also add some food onto the field to resemble players as well. It is completely up to you! How to assemble an easy snack stadium for Super Bowl: Combine two turf squares to make a turf rectangle that will serve as the field and act as the center of the snack stadium. In a well-ventilated area (ideally outside), please the football field stencil on top of your turf and using marking paint or chalk spray paint to mark the lines on the field. Remove the stencil and allow the paint to dry. Take 12 small, clear containers of the same size. Fill each container with different game day snacks. For instance, one container may be filled with chips while another has raw veggies and another has dip. Place your turf field on your table (or wherever you plan to serve your snack stadium). Arrange the clear containers evenly around the field to create the stands. I placed two containers on either side width-wise and four containers on either side of the field length-wise. Your snack stadium is complete! You can now decorate it with flags, goal posts, and a tiny football and helmets, if desired. Show your guests and be ready for your Super Bowl snack stadium to be the MVP of the game!
